Your First Visit with Our High Point Dentist
Here at Deep River Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, we want to make sure your appointment is as comfortable as possible, yet at the same time, thoroughly and professionally evaluate the status of your teeth and create a plan to restore them to a healthy state. We set aside an hour and a half for your first appointment in order to get to know you and your dental history as well as to allow you to voice your concerns about your teeth.
You will first be escorted to one of our evaluation rooms where Dr. Bray will listen to any concerns you might have about your dental health. We will then take digital x-rays so that we can see and evaluate any problems in detail. Once this is done, Dr. Bray will perform a comprehensive exam which includes an oral cancer screening and intra-oral photos if necessary.
Lastly, he will discuss with you any problems he has seen and the treatment he recommends. You will receive a written summary of the suggested treatment plan along with information regarding your insurance coverage. Dr. Bray is a very conservative dentist and will only recommend treatment he feels is absolutely necessary. If at any time during your appointment you feel uncomfortable or confused, please let us know. For timid patients, we also offer sedation dentistry to assist with comfort during exams or procedures.
